Congress president Sonia Gandhi has cancelled her Friday’s one-day tour to Chhattisgarh capital due to health issue.
Culture Minister Amarjeet Bhagat on Thursday informed media persons that Sonia Gandhi was unwell and hence had cancelled her one-day tour to the state.
Notable, Sonia Gandhi was to attend the inaugural function of statehood day in the state capital as a Chief Guest. A consent regarding the same was given by her on invitation of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel during his recent New Delhi visit.
Meanwhile, Bhagat further informed that in place of Sonia now the Chief Minister himself will chair the inaugural function of the three-day long Rajyotsava function.
