Stage set for Paradip mega blood donation camp

The Eastern India Oil Refinery Workers’ Union (EIORWU) is all set to organise a mega blood donation camp here on March 1 and 2 as part of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's dream programme of ‘Jeevan Bindu’ for augmentation of collection of blood for the benefit of the needy patients.

Paradip’s leading trade union leader and EIORWU president Santosh Kumar Pattnaik, who is organising the Jeevan Bindu programme for fourth time, inspected the arrangements and infrastructure of the blood donation camp along with a four-member team on Tuesday. The arrangements include a parking place, food stalls and a rest shed for blood donors.

As many as 300 medical teams from different parts of the State would join the blood donation camp this time. Santosh Pattnaik has sought help from the State Jeevan Bindu committee for success of the camp.
