Two Pak soldiers killed by Indian Army

In a pin pointed retaliatory strike, at least two Pakistani soldiers were killed by the Indian Army  opposite Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district late Tuesday night. 

Ground reports indicated, soon after the Pakistani army attempted to target  the Indian troops deployed at one of the forward posts in the Sunderbani sector late Tuesday evening Indian army hit back effectively.

Official sources on ground confirmed,  “in a pinpointed response the Pak army suffered fatal injuries. There was no further exchange of firing in the forward area. The firing stopped immediately”. Ground reports suggested , at least two soldiers of the Pakistan army were killed in the retaliatory firing.

Official sources also revealed the area South of Pir Panjal is witnessing hectic activity along the line of control following fresh spells of snowfall in the higher reaches.

Pakistan based handlers of terrorist groups are attempting to push small batches of terrorists to infiltrate inside the Indian territory taking advantage of thick foliage and inclement weather conditions. On the other hand, Indian troops are standing tall, braving intense cold weather conditions to foil the nefarious designs of the Pakistan army. Intelligence reports indicated, desperate Pakistan army may target the Indian troops and launch BAT strikes in the region.

Meanwhile, fresh ceasefire violation was reported along the line of control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri on Wednesday.

Defence PRO in Jammu, Lt-Col Devender Anand said,  “at about 6.00 p.m Pakistan initiated 'unprovoked' ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling mortars along the LoC in  Nowshera sector”. He said the Indian army retaliated befittingly.
