BJP to win 60 seats, create history by forming Govt again in 2022: Gautam

Sunday, 29 November 2020 | PNS | Dehradun

The Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary and State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam has opined that the BJP will win 60 seats in the Vidhan Sabha election and create history by forming government again in Uttarakhand. Gautam said this while speaking at a meeting of the party’s state office bearers, State government’s ministers, MLAs and position holders at the BJP State office here on Saturday.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular PM of India so far. The reason for this is the work he is doing at the national and international levels. Gautam told the party workers that the BJP was not formed to gain power but with the idea of considering the nation supreme and serving the nation and society. Stating that the Uttarakhand government is doing considerably good work, he said that all the party workers have to take the achievements of the centre and state to the public.

The BJP State co in-charge Rekha Verma also exhorted the party workers to prepare for the 2022 Vidhan Sabha elections. She pointed out that the BJP had been victorious in the polls held recently in 11 states including Bihar, adding that all have to work unitedly to secure another win for the party in Uttarakhand.

The BJP State president Banshidhar Bhagat said that all the party workers in the state always remain prepared for elections. Stating that the party will contest the 2022 assembly polls on the issue of development, he assured Gautam and Verma that by getting re-elected to form government in 2022, the BJP will break the trend of BJP and Congress alternately forming government in Uttarakhand.
