State continued to witness spells of rainfall and intensity of rainfall has diminished on Thursday; State capital witnessed dark dense cloud, which failed to pour.
Across the State pattern of rainfall with heavy and light spells were witnessed in the past 24 hours. On Thursday rainfall activities were less active and few regions witnessed rainfall.
The Met department told that a low pressure over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas is active and would induce rainfall while the system would turn east- north in the next 48 hours.
The regions, which are likely to receive heavy rainfall according to the warning issued by Met department, are Rewa division and Annuppur, Shahdol, Panna and Chhatarpur districts.
Thundery activities and thunder lightening warning has been issued for Rewa, Shahdol, Sagar, Hoshangabad and Bhopal divisions and Dhar, Ratlam, Dewas, Jabalpur and Katni.
On Thursday till 5.30 in the evening Rewa recorded 2 cm of rainfall while other regions like Jabalpur, Satna, Sidhi, Khajuraho, Umaria and Mandla also reported rainfall.
State capital recorded day temperature at 31 degree Celsius while night temperature at 23.2 degree Celsius. The day temperature is likely to record at 23 degree Celsius while the night temperature would be recorded around same level.
In the past 24 hours the regions which recorded good rainfall(in cm) were Shyampur 15, Jaora 11, Chhatarpur 10, Tal 9, Badwaha 8, Shajapur, Sardarpur, Itarsi, Lateri, Prithvipur, Jabalpur 7, Hata, Rajnagar, Sendhwa, Gunna, Khachraud, Gautampura, Sendwa 6, Kukshi, Suwasara, Ashok Nagar, Ashta, Panna, Gurh, Nagda 5 cm.
