IAS officers reshuffled in C’garh

The Chhattisgarh government reshuffled 13 IAS officers on Thursday following the return of Dr M Geetha after her higher studies in the U.S. and Taman Singh Sonwani, taking charge as State Public Service Commission chairman.

Geetha (IAS, 1997) has been made officiating Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture and Bio-technology Department. She has been given additional charge of Secretary, Gramudyog.

On her taking charge, Dr Maninder Kaur Dwivedi (IAS, 1995) will be relieved as Agriculture Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Bio-technology Department and additional charge of Principal Secretary, Gramudyog.

Pardeshi Siddarth Komal (IAS, 2003), now Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD), and Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, and Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Road Development Corp (CGRDC), Raipur, has been posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister and given additional charge of Secretary, PWD, Secretary, Aviation, and Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare Department.

Neelam Namdeo Ekka (IAS, 2005), Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Handloom Development and Marketing Federation Ltd, Raipur, has been posted as Special Secretary, Housing and Environment Department.

Alex V.F. Paul Menon V (IAS, 2006), the Special Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, and Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corp, Raipur, has been given additional charge of Labour Commissioner, Chhattisgarh.

Sonmoni Borah (IAS, 1999), the Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department, and Secretary to the Governor, Secretary, Labour Department, Labour Commission and State Nodal Officer, will be relieved of the charge of Labour Commissioner.

Bhuvnesh Yadav (IAS, 2006), Special Secretary, Gramudyog, will have additional charge of Director, Land Records.

Shammi Abidi (IAS-2007), Director, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Corporation, will hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Anthavyavsai Cooperative Finance and Development Corp and Director, Tribal Caste Research and Training Institute, Raipur.

Rajesh Singh Rana (IAS, 2008), Member Secretary, State Planning Commission, will also take charge as Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Handloom Development and Marketing Federation, Raipur, and Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Khadi and Gramudyog Board.

Narendra Kumar Dugga (IAS, 2008), Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, and will also be Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd.

K. D. Kunjam (IAS, 2009), Joint Secretary, General Administration Department and Revenue and Natural Calamity Management, will hold additional charge of Controller, Food and Drug Administration.

Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Ksheersagar (IAS, 2011) has been made Director, Agriculture, and additional charge as Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM), Raipur.

Bhoskar Vilas Sandeepan (IAS, 2011), Joint Secretary, Forest Department and Joint Secretary, Housing and Environment, and OSD, Health Department, along with existing posts will hold additional charge of MD, CGRDC, Raipur.

Jitendra Kumar Shukla (IAS, 2011), Director, Public Instructions, and Managing Director, Samagra Shiksha, will no more be Mission Director, State Literacy Mission (SLM), and Director, State Council for Educational Research and Training, but will have additional charge of Director, Town and Rural Investment.

D. Rahul Venkat (IAS, 2015), Deputy Secretary, Mining Resources Department, and Mission Director State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) Raipur and ODS, Health and Family Welfare Department will be taken of SRLM but hold charge of Mission Director, SLM and Director, SCERT.
