A three-day 'Nirjharani Mahotsav' will be organized by the Madhya Pradesh Government Culture Department with the association of the District Administration-Alirajpur on Monday.
In the ceremony dedicated to the Amrit Mahotsav of 75th Independence and to express gratitude towards the rivers and the memory of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad, 'Mahatsav' is being organized in Rajwada campus from December 20 to 22.
Tribal and folk dance performances of Madhya Pradesh, 'Gagan Damama Bajyo' theatrical presentation centered on Chandrashekhar Azad and Vanvasi Leelas Bhaktimati Shabri and Nishadraj Guhya Leela- Natya presentation will be given in the function.
Along with the exhibition of paintings based on the play of Vanvasi Leela, a combination of the personality and creativity of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad is also being organized in the festival.
The event will begin on December 20 with Narmada Aarti at Maa Narmada Tat Kakrana. From Kakrana, the artistes will reach Rajwada with Narmada Jal Kalash, where cultural performances will start from 6.30 pm.
On December 20, Tribal Bhagoria dance, Korku tribal Gadli-Thapti dance, folk dance of Malwa, Gond tribal Dhandar dance, Rathwa tribal dance of Gujarat as well as Mahanayak Chandrashekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh's contribution to the freedom struggle focused on the play "Gagan Damama Bajyo". Presentation will be given by Pavilion Cultural Education Kala Kendra Samiti-Rewa.
On the second day on December 22, Bhil tribal dance, folk dance of Nimar and forest resident Leela Natya Bhaktimati Shabari will be performed.
On the third day, on December 22, Bhil tribal dance, Bharia tribal Bhadam dance and Vanvasi Leela Natya Nishadraj Guhya will be performed.
