Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (WRWWO) has always come forward to provide help and care to railwaymen and their families. It has continued to work relentlessly and has dedicated itself towards multifarious welfare activities. This organisation has always held aloft the banner of such benevolent gestures with Tanuja Kansal, the President of WRWWO, leading it from the forefront whole heartedly and with great devotion.
In continuation to this, recently, Kansal paid annual visits to the Divisional Units of WRWWO at Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad and Ratlam divisions to encourage various aspects of women empowerment and social welfare. She interacted with the members of the divisional units and listened to their requirements for the benefit of women staff at these divisions.
During her visit to the Rajkot Division, she inaugurated a Children’s Park at Kothi Compound Colony. Along with this, she also declared cash award of Rs 50,000/- each for Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad divisions. It is worth mentioning that during her earlier visits to Vadodara and Mumbai Central divisions, cash award of Rs 50,000/- each were also given. At Ratlam Division, Kansal donated 43 inch television screen for the Physiotherapy Room at the Divisional Hospital, Ratlam, which was inaugurated by her during her recent visit.
