Saturday, 09 September 2023 | PNS | Ranchi

Colonel Ranveer Jamwal in his mission "Har Shikhar Tiranga" programme will unfurl the Indian Tri-colour in Parasnath, the highest peak of Jharkhand on 9th September 2023. The mission leader is Colonel Ranveer Singh Jamwal SM, VSM, an internationally renowned mountaineer who has climbed Mount Everest three times and has also conquered the highest mountain on all seven continents.

Har Shikhar Tiranga (HST) is a unique and remarkable campaign with the significant objective of hoisting the Indian national flag, Tiranga, on the highest peak of all 28 states of India for the very first time. This campaign is part of the larger "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav," a nationwide celebration commemorating the 75th year of India's independence. It is a momentous occasion that coincides with India's G20 presidency, adding even more importance to this mission.

Colonel Jamwal and his team today met Governor CP Radhakrishnan here on Friday. The Governor applauded the initiative of Col Ranveer Jamwal and his team and appreciated his patriotism and contribution to our motherland India.

The founder and director of Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation, Rajeev Gupta, is actively involved in this endeavour to inspire the people of Jharkhand through various programs.

On August 20th, after honouring the 13 Everest Summiteers on the 70th Anniversary of the Everest Summit in Ranchi, Jharkhand, an opportunity arose to collaborate with Colonel Ranveer Jamwal in his mission during the "Har Shikhar Tiranga" program. On September 9, 2023, the Colonel's team will unfurl the Indian Tri-colour on the highest peak of Parasnath, which is a matter of pride for our state, Jharkhand.

The main objectives of the mission are to promote national unity, showcase diversity, foster patriotism, encourage adventure and exploration, and raise local awareness.

So far, the team has successfully climbed the highest mountains/points of 24 states, including all seven northeastern states, Himalayan states, and coastal states. The team is now moving toward Parasnath to climb and unfurl Tiranga at the highest point of Jharkhand on the 9th of September 2023.

The team has received felicitations from many heads of state, such as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, the Governor of Uttarakhand, the LG of Ladakh, the LG of Jammu and Kashmir, and the CM of Arunachal Pradesh. As the team enters Jharkhand, it is humbly requested that everyone come forward and be part of such a patriotic mission.
