Governor bats for development of Primitive Tribal Groups

Governor CP Radhakrishnan while interacting with the villagers at Nawadih Panchayat Bhawan of Ramgarh block under Palamu district said that the state will not develop until the development of primitive tribes. Many schemes have been run by the Central and State Government for the upliftment of all of you, you all have to take advantage of these schemes.

He said that before coming to Palamu division, a review was done with the Secretary of School Education and Literacy and the Secretary of Higher and Technical Education. Taking cognizance of shortage and absence of teachers in schools and doctors in hospitals, he said that apart from biometric attendance in all schools of the state, he also directed to ensure presence of doctors and medical staff in hospitals through biometric system so that they do not get paid for non-performance. He said that efforts will be made to construct a primary hospital here. The Governor encouraged the women of self-help groups.

Drawing attention to the shortage of teachers, he said that teachers are being appointed in the state. Now there will be no problem with teachers here. On drawing attention to the problem of water, he said that today he along with the officials of the Irrigation Department directed the officials for the construction of check dams and rain water harvesting.

On this occasion, the Governor talked about work under lift irrigation in Palamu. He told everyone to be aware and asked them to stay away from drugs. He urged everyone to educate their children. He said that no illegal work will be allowed here. All of you will get your due rights. He said that if there is faith in the mind, success will be achieved.

On the occasion, the assets under various schemes were also distributed among the beneficiaries by the Governor. He also paid homage to the statue of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Medininagar Station Road on the death anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

The Governor also held a review meeting with the officials of the Irrigation Department in Daltonganj. On the occasion, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Reviewing the topics related to compensation to the people for the land acquired by Power Grid and the work being done under CSR by Power Grid, said that during the interaction with the villagers at Lahlehe Panchayat Bhawan, Medininagar yesterday, it was informed by the people that Power Grid Proper compensation is not being provided for the land occupied by the corporation, nor is the work being done under CSR by this corporation.

Paying attention to their demands, he asked the officials of Power Grid and the Deputy Commissioner to apprise the high officials about their reality so that it could be resolved.

The Governor, while interacting with the villagers at the block office-cum-circle office of Ramkanda under Garhwa district said that the place we come from receives less rainfall. But there has been industrial progress. One door closes, another door opens. He said that there is a problem with water here, but the people here are hardworking. Efforts will be made to cooperate with the Central and State Government for the development of Garhwa.

Talking about paying attention to education, he said that now even the government helps to study abroad. If every village develops then panchayat will develop, if every panchayat develops then block will develop, if block develops then district will develop, if district develops then state will develop and if state develops then country will develop.

Assets were distributed among the beneficiaries under various schemes by the Governor on the said occasion.
