People in Jashpur district in Chhattisgarh have taken up beekeeping for livelihood.
Jashpur area is considered ideal for beekeeping, which the district administration is constantly trying to promote.
Due to this, the beneficiaries will be able to produce honety with the help of scientific technology, an official statement said on Saturday.
Taking the initiative, the district administration released funds from DMF as per a report from the Forest Department. IIT Mumbai is imparting training.
The Forest Department in Jashpur has conducted preliminary training in nine villages.
The work of the second phase has been started.
