Say no to drugs: Tyagi to students

Sunday, 15 January 2023 | PNS | INDORE

To mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the tribal affairs department Indore to inform about the side effects of drugs to the students studying in various hostels organized an awarness program in the premises of Bhanwarkuwa Govt tribal welfare College Hostel, in which all the students were present.

The chief speaker was journalist of The Pioneer Vikas Tyagi while addressing the large gathering told that the way the fishermen sitting in the boat in the sea by inserting a hook, the moving fish is pulled out of the deep water which swims several feet below, because the fish grabs greedily the substance attached to the hook and opens its mouth and gets stuck in it and then the fisherman pulls it out easily.  In the same way, the drug dealers, the criminals, the anti-national and anti-social forces in the villages, towns and cities act like fisherman.

In many places, drug bags have been thrown on hooks and the students and youth who rush to eat this drug bags. The students get caught in the hooks like fish and by deviating from their main objective, the career of the students and youth is ruined   by drug dealers and criminals as the drug suppliers pull these trapped students in the world of Intoxication.

Tyagi appealed to the students that they should not deviate from their goal and say no to drugs forever in the first instance.

Presiding over the program Commissioner of Tribal Affairs Indore Division  Brijesh Pandey told the students that the students of rural areas from all the 8 districts of Indore division are studying in the government hostel here in Indore and the government is providing all kinds of facilities free of cost to them including free stay,  free food and free study.

Students should always be alert and always stay away from their biggest enemy in the form of drugs and do not consume cigarettes, tobacco, gutka, alcohol and drugs even for the first time as a form of entertainment, because once you get addicted to it It becomes difficult to give up drug addiction and then the career of the students gets ruined. Intoxication causes physical, mental and economic loss.
