State Govt to prepare 30 pilots every year

Jharkhand Government has decided to prepare 30 new pilots every year. This proposal has been approved in the cabinet meeting held recently. This can prove to be a golden opportunity for the youth of Jharkhand who dream of becoming pilots. For this, a training center will also be built in the State sub-capital Dumka.

After the cabinet meeting Principal Secretary of Finance Department, Ajoy Kumar Singh said that the cabinet has approved after considering a total of 23 agendas related to the development of the State. In this sequence, the State Government has also decided to prepare 30 new pilots every year, he added.

The State Government has also prepared a complete action plan to prepare 30 pilots every year. For this, 'Commercial Pilot License with Multi Engine Rating and Airbus 320 Time Rating' training academy will also be formed in the airport of Dumka, the sub-capital of Jharkhand.

Candidates will be selected for this training academy on the basis of entrance examination. During the selection, 30 trainee pilots will be selected following the reservation process. The state government will give 100% scholarship to 15 of these trainee pilots and make them pilots for free.

This training to become a pilot will be completed in two phases. Its first phase will be completed in Dumka. The government will send these trainee pilots to Noida or Gurugram for the next phase of training. After completing the training from there, these trainee pilots would be completely prepared.

The State Government will spend Rs 9.10 crore for the one-time training. For this, students who have passed 12th examination from Science Faculty will be able to appear in the entrance examination conducted by the state government. Jharkhand Government is calling it a golden opportunity for the youth of the State.
