Youths are the driving force of Viksit Bharat@2047: Guv

Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that the youth are the driving force of Viksit Bharat@2047 (Developed India@2047). He has asked the stakeholders of the education world to recognise the brilliance of the youth. Give the youth an opportunity to showcase their immense capabilities in various fields. Incorporate their ideas and suggestions towards nation building.

Governor Patel was addressing the state level programme organised at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Education K.C. Gupta and Principal Secretary to the Governor D.P. Ahuja were present.

Governor Mangubhai Patel said that the world is very big. India will have to be developed in all fields.

It is essential for the progress of the nation to reach the last link of the society, the deprived sections. He said that it is necessary to think about inclusive development in the society, in which people and communities left behind in the mainstream of development will have to be brought forward on priority. He said that the country is changing rapidly.

Women are increasingly participating in the development of the nation. Referring to the dialogue with women self-help groups, he said that women are scripting a new chapter of self-reliance and leadership.

Governor Mangubhai Patel called upon the youth to contribute the best of their intellectual and physical abilities in nation building. The role of their contribution in making India a world leader is most significant. He said that the country is today at an important turning point in history.

The country is moving towards the future with confidence in its capabilities. It is clearly visible that the 21st century will be India's century. What is needed is everyone's collective and united efforts. He gave information about the country's millitary power, economy, rural and urban development, poverty alleviation, education, health infrastructure, sustainable development and India's achievements at the global level.

Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education K.C. Gupta said in the welcome address that concept papers of various subjects are available on My Gov portal. The university should organise contemplation programmes on them for students. Motivate and encourage students for suggestions. Reward them also. The vote of thanks was expressed by the Registrar of Barkatullah.

Patel was greeted with shawl and shrifal. Professors, scholars and students from various universities of the state also participated in the programme through virtual medium.
