POWERGRID Signs MoU with RVPNL
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under Ministry of Power, Govt of India, has signed an MoU with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPNL) at a function held in Jaipur. It was signed in presence of R. K. Singh, Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India, Bhajanlal Sharma, Chief Minister, Rajasthan, and in august presence of Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal & Mines and Diya Kumari, Deputy CM, Rajasthan. The MoU was signed by Nathmal Didel, IAS, MD, RVPNL and D. N. Rozekar, Executive Director (BDD&JV) POWERGRID in the gracious presence of Alok, Addl. Chief Secretary (Power) Govt. of Rajasthan and RK Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID.
VIT Chennai holds cultural and sports fest
Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik, famous playback singers Shreya Ghoshal, Andrea, and Jonita Gandhi, and International dance crew Shraey Khanna and team performed and entertained the students. More than 200 cultural and sports events were a part of Vibrance 2024. International students from Japan, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Poland, and Philippines. and Students from prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, and Anna University participated in the events. Vibrance attracted over 22,000 students across India and Winners of the events received prizes worth around ` 10 lakhs. The great fest had its valedictory on 09.03.2024. Valedictory guest, Actor, and Social activist Sonu Sood shared his valuable thoughts with the students and encouraged them.
SRMIST, Renault Nissan Tech ink pact
SRM Institute of Science and Technology- India's premier higher education institution in engineering, technology, management, law, arts and science, and global automobile major Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India (Renault Nissan Tech.) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on Recently. The partnership will pave the way for driving advancements in automobile technology and education, while serving as a platform for innovation in research and developing skilled talent. As a part of the pact, Renault Nissan Tech. also handed over a car to SRM's Fab Lab, giving students an opportunity to test and develop products directly on the vehicle, paving the way for researchers to explore and arrive at sustainable mobility solutions.
