‘Naveen has betrayed Odisha people’

Monday, 18 March 2024 | PNS | BHUBANESWAR

The people of Odisha have continuously elected Naveen Patnaik and given reigns of the State. But Patnaik in the fear of BJP has made a deal with them and betrayed the people of the State, said Aam Aaadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Sandip Pathak at a Press conference here on Sunday.

Pathak said the BJP is arm-twisting the BJD to have alliance. The BJP knows very well how to steal votes. The people of Odisha are now very unhappy and feeling cheated as they loved Naveen Patnaik and elected him, but after coming to power he handed over all responsibilities to a non-Odia officer. The Chief Minister does not have any empathy for Odia people; so, how can he provide them good governance, Pathak questioned.

Only Arvind Kejriwal is fighting for the rights of the common people in the country. In Odisha, the conditions of health and education sectors are pathetic. The unemployment problem is acute. In coming days, Kejriwal would come to Odisha, he said.

Among others, AAP Odisha in-charge Birendra Singh Kadian and State convenor Nishikant Mahapatra were present.
