Altogether 134 cases were disposed of and a total revenue of Rs. 5,56,400.00 was received in Monthly Lok Adalat on Saturday.
As per the directions of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JSLSA), under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa, on the directions of Principal District Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa, Rajesh Sharan Singh, "Monthly Lok Adalat -cum- Special Lok Adalat related to Cheque Dishonour and Electricity Act" was held today.
On this occasion, five benches (including Nagar Sub-Divisional Civil Court) were constituted for the execution of various cases, in which Santosh Anand Prasad, District and Additional Sessions Judge-II, Arvind Kachhap, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nagar Untari, Kumar Vipul, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Smt. Veena Kumari, Judicial Magistrate, Smt. Monica Prasad, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate was present. Along with the Judicial Magistrate, one advocate each was also nominated for all the benches. These include Advocates Praveen Kumar Sahu, Hanseshwar Pandey- Nagar Untari, Nityanand Dubey, Anita Ranjan and Sudhir Kumar Tiwari. In today's monthly Lok Adalat, a total of 134 cases were disposed of including 27 cases from Criminal Compoundable, 54 cases related to Electricity Department, 03 cases related to cheque dishonour and 50 cases from Nagar Untari Sub-Divisional Officer. In which a total revenue of Rs. 5,56,400.00 was received.
In today's monthly Lok Adalat, cheques were distributed in 02 cases under Motor Vehicles Act. On the said occasion, judicial officers, advocates, court staff, PLV Suryadev Chaudhary and parties were present.
