Anushka Verma is representing India at the ongoing World Youth Festival in Sirius Federal Territory, Russia from March 1 to 8.
President Vladimir Putin had signed a decree last year for hosting the international meet. Anushka was shortlisted based on the results of the competitive selection held in accordance with the Regulations for the Competitive Selection of Russian and Foreign Participants of the World Youth Festival 2024.
