Apna Dal (Kameravadi), a former ally of Samajwadi Party, has announced that it will forge an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party.
The alliance of Apna Dal (K) with the Samajwadi Party had collapsed last week after it unilaterally announced three candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.
Apna Dal (K) on Saturday announced the withdrawal of the list of three candidates. Apna Dal (K) leader Pallavi Patel, who is an MLA, said the list announced earlier had been withdrawn.
Pallavi Patel said she would meet BSP chief Mayawati on Sunday and the candidates would be announced after alliance with the BSP was finalised.
Apna Dal (K) had earlier announced candidates from Mirzapur, Kaushambi and Phulpur Lok Sabha constituencies.
