The inspection, aimed at ensuring smooth and orderly conduct of the electoral process, involved a thorough assessment of alternative locations to ensure compliance with the norms set by the Election Commission and to make appropriate arrangements. Accompanied by Sub-Divisional Officer Dhalbhum, Piyush Sinha, and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Sinha, the district officials meticulously inspected several key sites including Cooperative College, XLRI, JRD Tata Sports Complex, and Sacred Heart Convent School.
During the inspection, special attention was given to the election materials provided to polling officers, dispatch center operations, and arrangements for polling personnel. Furthermore, specific areas such as the vehicle stand, election material receiving center, and strong room and counting room facilities were scrutinized to ensure optimum preparedness.
Of significant focus was the assessment of tables designated for Electoral Roll Officer/Assistant Electoral Roll Officer and assembly-wise vote counting, along with discussions regarding the construction of counting rooms and selection of suitable locations.
