It included enlightening information sessions, a free blood pressure screening camp, advisory sessions on appropriate dietary and lifestyle choices, and the exhibition of posters advocating kidney health awareness.
Esteemed dignitaries graced the occasion, notably Clinical Director Dr. ML Ali, Medical Superintendent Dr. Mukesh Kumar, and eminent kidney disease specialists, Dr. Wahid Khan and Dr. Sujit Kumar. Dr. Wahid Khan, a leading expert in the field, emphasized the alarming surge in kidney diseases, attributing it to prevalent factors such as diabetes, hypertension, and sedentary lifestyles. He elucidated on the detrimental effects of erratic dietary patterns, stress, and inadequate physical activity on kidney health.
