BJP gives a befitting response to anti-Shakti rhetoric of INDIA bloc

Friday, 22 March 2024 | PNS | Lucknow

In a spirited rebuttal of the recent derogatory remarks aimed at Sanatan culture by leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), the Shakti movement, emblematic of the country’s feminine power, is poised to deliver a resounding lesson.

Initiating the ‘Hum Bhi Shakti’ campaign, the Bharatiya Janata Power is set to organise a series of Shakti Holi Milan programmes across 254 mandals in Kanpur and Bundelkhand.

The campaign, which kicked off on Thursday, is slated to run from April 21 to 24, said Prakash Pal, a senior leader of Kanpur-Bundelkhand region, during a meeting of the Mahila Morcha.

Pal underscored the significance of the campaign, emphasising its response to the anti-Shakti rhetoric espoused by Rahul Gandhi and others within the INDIA bloc.

Expressing bewilderment at the Congress leader’s disparagement of Sanatan sanskriti and the essence of Shakti, Pal remarked, “We do not know why they are so afraid of our culture.”

He reiterated the BJP’s unwavering commitment to upholding the values enshrined in Sanatan culture, positioning Shakti as the cornerstone of their ethos.

In a gesture of reverence and recognition, the campaign aims to honour women and sisters, symbolic of Shakti, by adorning them with tilak at all Shakti Centres across the Kanpur-Bundelkhand region. The homage extends to women who embody the spirit of Shakti in various spheres, including advocates, entrepreneurs, educators and more.

The Mahila Morcha has outlined plans to organise Shakti Holi Milan programmes from March 26 to March 31, encompassing all 254 mandals in the region. These celebratory events will serve as a testament to the indomitable strength and resilience embodied by women, underlining the integral role they play in shaping societal direction and progress.

As the ‘Hum Bhi Shakti’ campaign gains momentum, it symbolises not only a staunch defence of Sanatan culture but also a reaffirmation of the enduring power and influence wielded by women across the nation.
