Vijaya Jadhav, the Deputy Election Officer (DEO) and Deputy Commissioner of Bokaro, convened a meeting of the Standing Committee on Monday at the conference hall of the Collectorate to ensure the smooth, impartial, transparent, and peaceful conduct of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Members of the committee, including representatives from various political parties, were present at the meeting.
During the session, the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner advised the representatives of political parties to adhere to the rules prescribed by the Election Commission of India. Detailed information regarding the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) was provided to all present prior to the discussion.
Present at the occasion were Senior officer Mumtaz Ansari, Bermo SDO Ashok Kumar, Nodal Officer & DTO Vandana Shejwalkar, District Assistant Election Officer Pratibha Kujur, Traffic DSP Ashish Kumar, and others.
