CCL CMD meets CM to get advice on boosting coal production

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD), Dr B Veera Reddy met Chief Minister, Champai Soren in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly today. On this occasion, he requested the Chief Minister for guidance to achieve the target of 2023-24 in the production and dispatch of coal. He informed the Chief Minister that by achieving the production and dispatch targets, the state's revenue collection will increase.

Meanwhile, 9 personnel retiring from various departments of CCL Headquarters, Director (Technical/Operations), Ram Babu Prasad, General Manager (M&S), Rajesh Mishra, Quality Deptartment, Ramakant Mishra, Chief Manager (Mining), NIMS Department, Manoj Kumar, Chief Manager (Excavation), CCMC Department, Ranjan Samanta, Chief Manager (Environment), Forest Department, Basant Kumar Manjhi, Sub Engineer, Municipal Administration Department, Ghanshyam Singh, Chief Pharmacist, A-1, Gandhinagar Hospital, Braj Bihari Singh. , Foreman Incharge, A-1 and Shrikant Thakur, Foreman (Electrical), A-1, were given a fond farewell by the CCL family by organizing a “Honor-cum-Farewell Ceremony”.

On this occasion, CCL CMD Dr. B. Veera Reddy, Director (Finance), Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Personnel), Harsh Nath Mishra and Director Technical (Planning/Project), B Sairam was present. It may be noted that in the month of February, 112 employees retired from the entire CCL including the headquarters.
 
On this occasion, a short film on the work experiences of retired personnel was screened. In this video, the employees shared the memorable moments of their entire service period. Expressing good wishes towards the company, the retired employees said that the company has been an integral part of our lives throughout our service period. He thanked everyone and wished for the continued development of the company.

With his versatile talent and leadership skills, Ram Babu Prasad has always made important contributions to the progressive progress of the company. He performed important tasks while working in various subsidiary companies of Coal India including CCL. It may be noted that Shri Prasad had taken charge as Director (Technical/Operations) in CCL on May 2022. During his tenure the company continuously achieved new heights.

CMD, Dr Reddy, while congratulating the retiring employees on the successful completion of their service, said that as a result of the contribution of all of you, the company is moving on the path of success. We will definitely miss your experience. Due to the hard work and meaningful efforts of all of you, the company is reaching new heights. Dr. Reddy wished all the retiring employees all the best for the second phase of their lives.
