Chef dies in road accident at Bairagarh

A restaurant chef died after he was hit by a truck while crossing the road in Bairagarh late at night on Tuesday.

He was returning home from duty at the time of the incident. The accused driver fled along with the truck after the accident. The police have registered a case and started investigation.

Police said that Vicky Parihar lived in MGH Colony Bairagarh. He worked as a head chef in a restaurant located in Bairagarh. Like his every day routine he was returning home from duty late on Tuesday night.

While crossing the road near Kalka temple, he was hit by a truck. The young man died on the spot in the accident. The accused driver fled from the spot along with the truck. The body was handed over to the family members after the PM on Wednesday afternoon.

Vicky married 13 years ago. He has three children Priyansh (12), Mayur (10) and a 5 year old daughter from the marriage.

 Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident site to identify the accused driver.
