Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren on Sunday gave gifts worth Rs 93 crore to Garhwa. Due to bad weather, there was a delay of four and a half hours in the CM's arrival. The Chief Minister of Jharkhand reached Garhwa by road at 4:30 pm.
Here first of all the CM inaugurated the newly constructed Collectorate building of Garhwa.
Champai Soren inaugurated as total 5 important schemes built at a cost of Rs 93 crore at district headquarters Garhwa on Sunday afternoon. This includes the state-of-the-art Collectorate building built at a cost of Rs 60 crore, Birsa Munda Helipad Park built at a cost of Rs 15 crore, the much awaited Nilambar-Pitamber Multipurpose Cultural Building built at a cost of Rs 7 crore, the newly constructed Inter-State Municipal Transport stand a costing of Rs 4 crore and a football stadiums made at a cost of Rs 7 crore.
After this the Chief Minister reached the grounds of Govind High School. Here he had to address the public meeting, but because it was time for the helicopter to take off, he could not even go on the stage. After inaugurating the Town Hall here, he left for Ranchi.
When the Chief Minister reached Garhwa, he was given a guard of honour. After this he was welcomed with traditional Jharkhandi song and dance. Due to paucity of time, Champai Soren did not give any speech here. He left for Ranchi by helicopter at around 5:30 pm. The helicopter reached there after the Chief Minister arrived by road.
