Under the joint leadership of Superintendent of Police, Lohardaga, Assistant Commandant CRPF 158 Battalion and Police Station Incharge Serengdag, intensive raid operation against Naxalites was conducted in villages Mungo, Jawal, Turiyadih, Dundru, Hundi, Jurni, Peertol, Henhe, Chaprong, Manhepat and Gamhariya of Serengdag police station. Run in remote hilly Naxal affected rural areas. During the campaign, the Superintendent of Police, Lohardaga met the villagers and informed them about their basic problems. Superintendent of Police Lohardaga said that necessary action would be taken soon to solve their problems.
As part of the campaign, polling booths were also inspected for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In this sequence, bags, copies, instrument boxes, blankets and necessary materials were distributed among the villagers and children of village Jurni as part of community policing. Also, an appeal has been made to the people who have deviated from the mainstream to join back into the mainstream. Police station in-charge, Serengdag and SAT 76 personnel were involved in this operation.
