Escalator facility soon at platform 6

Railways will soon start the facility of escalators at platform number 6 at Bhopal station, providing  relief to elderly passengers.

Railways is going to start the escalator facility for the first time on platform 6 of the station, till then this facility was operational from Platform 1.

With this there will now be three escalators at Bhopal station. Apart from this, about three lifts are also present for the passengers at Bhopal station.

It is being told that the escalator work has been completed by the company, now only the work of flooring around it is left. As soon as it is completed, Railways will start this facility in about a week. Let us tell you that Railways has been working on installing it for about one and a half months.

During the day the number of passengers coming from Platform 6, then more than 20000 passengers come from this side, out of which more than 8000 passengers are elderly people, apart from this, if we talk about the overall footfall of the station, then More than 40 thousand passengers come to Bhopal station every day.

More than 250 trains pass up and down here every day. According to the station officials, this facility will soon be started for the passengers.

Earlier recently, on the lines of Rani Kamlapati station, Railways has started an integrated parking facility at Bhopal station for the passengers and their families. In this, a ten minutes drop and go facility has also been provided to the passengers. In this facility, which started from platform number 6, passengers have to enter from the right side of the Waqf parking and passengers will bring their vehicles out from the left side.

With this there will be a total of 3 escalators at the station.
