Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal (A Regional Centre of National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi) inaugurated Temporary Exhibition on "Save Water - Save Life" on Friday on the occasion of World Water Day. Dr. Vivek Kumar Bhatt, Head of Water Resource Management & Engineering Facultyt, Bhopal was the chief guest of programme.
Dr. Beenish Rafat, Scientist-C & Head of Office, RMNH, Bhopal; Manik Lal Gupta, Scientist-C of RMNH, Bhopal; Dr. Sudesh Waghmare, Former Deputy Conservator of Forest, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal; Pradeep Kumar Tripati, Former Deputy Conservator of Forest, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Dr. Pradeep Nandi, Director General, National Centre for Human Settlements for Environment, Bhopal; Mohd. Khalique from Bhopal Birds; Staff members of museum; Teachers & students from Government Women Polytechnic, Bhopal and Government Naveen Higher Secondary School (Old Campion), Bhopal etc. were present during the inauguration of exhibition.
Introduction of Water; Water: Essential Component of Life, Uses of Fresh Water, Water Footprint, Traditional Method of Water Conservation, New Methods of Water Conservation, What We Can Do to Save Water etc. are displayed through panels in this exhibition. The aim of this exhibition is to create awareness among students & general public towards importance & conservation of water. Manik Lal Gupta, Scientist-C Coordinated the programme.
