The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Bhubaneswar Branch organised a seminar on Bank Branch Audit 2024 on March 22 here.
The programme was inaugurated by chief guest Dinesh Pruthi, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar. Seminar chairman and ex-chairman, ICAI Bhubaneswar Branch CA Prashant Panda gave a detailed insight on the Branch Bank Audit in presence of chairperson CA Janhabi Deo, vice chairman CA Mahendra Kumar Sahoo and secretary CA (Dr) Goutam Lenka.
CA Tushar Kanti Basu from Kolkata gave a detailed insight on the overall approach to Branch Bank Audit and LFAR Reporting, while CA KR Suresh from Chennai highlighted IRAC norms, loans and advances. CA Bibhudutta Patra from Bhubaneswar gave a detailed insight on the Auditing in CBS Environment.
More than 200 Chartered Accountants from Bhubaneswar joined and witnessed a very knowledge intensive and interactive session on Bank Audit.
