Ruling party in the State JMM has hit back at Babulal Marandi's statement given in a press conference on Tuesday. Party general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that Marandi is creating a new story out of fear of exposing the nexus of BJP and ED. The BJP wrote the script of ousting the popular government by arresting Hemant Soren, which was modified by the ED. Now due to the fear of it being exposed, a new story is being created, new characters are being chosen, dates are being chosen.
Bhattacharya said in a statement that when the special session of the assembly was going on and Babulal was present as a member in the House, then why did he not say this in the House? Have they forgotten that yesterday when Hemant had challenged the BJP and said that if they show the documents of the alleged eight and a half acres of land in the House then he will leave politics, then what was the fear that was troubling him that he would stay awake the whole night with ED officials and creating this kind of story.
Bhattacharya said that during the motion of thanks on the Governor's address, the Leader of the Opposition did not even give him a chance to speak, because he knew that Babulal would speak untruth in the House and action could be taken against his statement. Therefore he was not even given a chance to speak. Because the Leader of the Opposition knows that after getting elected under the leadership of Babulal, he has the character of taking benefits through political fraud, untruth and blackmailing. Within six months he left Jharkhand Vikas Morcha and joined BJP. This realization came to the BJP central leadership when he was made the state president. After this, to correct this mistake, Amar Kumar Bauri was made the Leader of Opposition, so that the lie could be countered with a bigger lie.
Bhattacharya said that BJP used the time given in its favour and authorized its senior most tribal MLA Neelkantha Munda to speak, so out of self-consciousness he did not give his statement, because he decided not to go against the tribal people to repent. His party's eloquent MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi linked the formation of the Champai government to Lord Ram; the height of vulgarity reached when he linked Pakistan to this episode.
Bhattacharya asked why Babulal Marandi remains so oblivious in the House. He should remember that when AJSU raised the issue of CGL question paper leak, House leader Champai Soren assured the House that he takes it seriously. After the end of the session, he passed the order to constitute an SIT. Babulal had forgotten what kind of corruption took place in the first and second JPSC selection exams during his tenure. His closest members including the then JPSC President had to go to jail. The case is still going on in the court.
