People of U’khand eager to participate in festival of democracy- Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the people of Uttarakhand are eagerly waiting to participate in the festival of democracy and huge enthusiasm is being seen in all the five Lok Sabha constituencies of the State. He was addressing a public meeting at Rudrapur in support of party candidate from Nainital- Udham Singh Nagar assembly constituency Ajay Bhatt on Wednesday. He said that Bhatt will become the MP for the second consecutive term while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will become PM for the third consecutive term with the blessings of the people.
Dhami said that many major decisions will be taken during the third term of PM Modi and India will further evolve into a major global power. In the third tenure of Modi, India will become the third largest economy of the world.

 He said that Uttarakhand is very close to the heart of PM Modi. Many new trains have become operational under his leadership and work on many railway stations is underway. The approval for the long pending Jamrani dam project has been given and a satellite centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh is coming up in Kichha. The land of HMT factory has been transferred to the Uttarakhand government. Dhami claimed that many historical works under the leadership of Ajay Bhatt have been done in Nainital parliamentary constituency. Exhorting people to vote for Bhatt, the CM said that PM Modi does what he promises and his guarantees are guarantee for welfare of famers, youngsters, poor and women.

He said that work on Manaskhand corridor is underway and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth Rs 24,000 crore was inked during the investors’ summit for the Udham Singh Nagar district. The CM listed passage of bill on Uniform Civil Code (UCC), 30 per cent reservation to women in government jobs and Lakhpati Didi project as some of the achievements of his government.

Speaking on the occasion Bhatt said that he is indebted to the people of Nainital- Udham Singh Nagar for giving the opportunity to serve them.
