Rotary governor applauds Rotary Steel City's community initiatives

Rotary Club Steel City received high praise and commendation from District Governor Shiv Prakash Bagaria during his official visit to the region. Under the leadership of president Amrita Vakharia, the club showcased a range of impactful community projects aimed at improving education, empowering women, and enhancing healthcare services.

The highlight of the visit was the inauguration ceremony at the upcoming Happy School, Shree Surat Sarvajanik M E School. The District Governor unveiled newly constructed facilities including toilets for both boys and girls, hand wash areas, drinking water facilities, and modern classrooms. This significant investment underscores the club's commitment to enhancing local educational infrastructure and fostering a conducive learning environment for students.

He also visited Kinudih village, Karandih, where advanced vocational training in local art forms was sponsored by Rotary Steel City. Welcomed warmly by villagers, he witnessed firsthand the products crafted by women who had undergone vocational training programs. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with Abiraa Arts, exemplifies Rotary Club's dedication to uplifting communities through skill development and entrepreneurship.

The tour also included a visit to the Rajasthan Seva Sadan Hospital in Jugsalai, where Rotary Steel City's largest Global Grant project is making a profound impact. The District Governor witnessed the successful implementation of facilities including a Dialysis Centre, ICU Centre, state-of-the-art beds, Digital X-ray unit, and RO unit. These advancements signify Rotary Steel City's commitment to enhancing healthcare services and improving access to quality medical care within the community.
