Rs 5 L stolen by breaking vehicle’s window

The criminals escaped with Rs 5 lakh by breaking the glass of the car in broad daylight. This incident took place on Thursday afternoon near Rajendra Chowk of Doranda police station area of the State Capital where the criminals escaped with a bag containing Rs 5 lakh after breaking the glass of the car.

The police started investigation in the case with the help of CCTV footage. Hark Bahadur Tamang of Doranda withdrew Rs five lakh from the State Bank of India near Rajendra Chowk in the afternoon and kept it in a bag in his car. While going home, he parked the car near the temple inside JAP office and went to visit the temple. When he came out after some time, we saw that the glass of the car was broken. When he peeked inside the car, he was shocked. A bag containing Rs five lakh was missing from the car. He informed the surrounding people and the police.

Police reached the spot and are busy investigating. Two miscreants riding a bike have committed the incident by breaking the glass of the car. Police is busy investigating. Let us tell you that 15 days ago also, criminals had made away with Rs 15 lakh by breaking the glass of a car in Kanke Road.

Just one day earlier bike riding criminals have snatched Rs 1 lakh from a female Para teacher. The incident took place on Wednesday near Futkaltoli of Ratu police station area of the district where the Para teacher Meena Tirkey, resident of Hehal Jamuntoli, was carrying Rs one lakh in her bag. Meanwhile, two youths riding a bike pounced on him and ran away with his bag.
