In a proactive move towards empowering the youth and addressing unemployment, the Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Scheme launched its Awareness Chariot from the Collectorate. The dynamic initiative aims to disseminate crucial information related to the scheme, targeting the youth across various blocks. District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal flagged off the initiative along with Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, and Sub-Divisional Officer Piyush Sinha.
The awareness chariot, a symbol of the scheme's commitment to spreading awareness, will traverse all blocks, reaching out to the youth and providing them with essential information about the Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Scheme. The initiative was flagged off with an inaugural ceremony that emphasized the importance of skill development and employment opportunities for the youth.
Under the scheme, free employment-related training is being offered to the youth and the unemployed, with the primary goal of providing them a pathway to a better future and sustainable employment. The Awareness Chariot serves as a mobile platform to communicate the benefits and opportunities available under the scheme, encouraging the youth to actively participate and reap its rewards.
“ There is a heartfelt appeal to the youth to join the Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Scheme and take advantage of the free training provided. By doing so, they can equip themselves with valuable skills that will not only enhance their employability but also contribute to their personal and professional growth,” said the deputy commissioner.
The launch of the Awareness Chariot marks a significant step towards creating awareness about the Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Scheme, fostering a sense of empowerment among the youth and opening doors to a brighter and more promising future.
