Twelve trainees from O.C.T. made their contribution at the Bokaro Steel Plant, with four of them being positioned in the Jharkhand Group of Mines. The induction program for the trainees was organized by the Human Resource Development Department on April 4.
The program commenced with a safety oath. Nita Ba, General Manager (Human Resource Development), extended a warm welcome to the trainees, commending their achievement and acknowledging their entry into the Bokaro Steel Plant. As the chief guest, Hari Mohan Jha, Chief General Manager (Personnel), congratulated the trainees on their bright future prospects. He emphasized the continuous elevation of the Bokaro Steel Plant, wherein the role of new trainees is anticipated. He urged the trainees to play a leading role not only in safety but also in achieving the target of zero-carbon emission steel production, highlighting their significant contribution towards environmental sustainability.
Nita Ba encouraged the trainees to not only excel in their jobs but also to enhance their qualifications through higher education and internal examinations to attain promotions and progress within the organization.
The event was moderated by Manager (H.R.D.), Preeti Kumari. In conclusion, Deputy General Manager (H.R.D.), Rajesh Kumar, reflected on the journey of Bokaro Steel Plant from its establishment to its illustrious present. He shed light on the two-year training program for the new trainees. The organization of the program saw significant contributions from the employees of the H.R.D. New Trainees Division.
