Victim family said that a dozen wild elephants reached the village at around 12 o'clock on Thursday night. The elephants broke their house and started eating the grains. The whole family got scared by that. People saved their lives by climbing on the roof of the mud house. In this regard, Forest Officer Animesh Kumar said that information has been received about the house being destroyed by wild elephants. The damage is being assessed. As per government provisions, the victim family will be given compensation.
