A three-day workshop on Medical Education Technology is being organized by the Center for Medical Education Technology of AIIMS Bhopal from today. The workshop was inaugurated by Professor (Dr) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal.
Discussing the importance of the workshop, Professor Singh said that today we have to change our teaching methods. To sustain interest among children, teaching will have to be made more interactive. He said that in the changing scenario, we should use technology keeping in mind the requirements of the students and understanding their needs.
So that we can give better education to children. He emphasized to the faculty participants the importance to putting their learning from the workshop into practice in their classes, clinical teaching sessions and adopt good assessment practices duringexaminations.
Earlier, welcoming the presence, Dr. Vaishali Waindeskar, Chairperson, Center for Medical Education Technology, said that 35 faculty members are participating in this workshop and through this workshop, these faculty members will be enriched about teaching methods so that their teaching skills can be improved.
Apart from this, how technology can be used in teaching will also be taught in this three-day workshop. This three days workshop will conclude on 7th March 2024.
