Pune-based Xolopak India Ltd., India's premier manufacturer of sustainable packaging products will set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant spanning 75,000 square feet at Pilukhedi near Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, conducted the virtual Bhoomipujan ceremony of the factory from Ujjain on March 01. MLA of Narsinghgarh, Mohan Sharma was present as the Chief Guest and performed the Bhoomipujan ceremony at the site.
MD and CEO of Xolopak, Shashank Mishra, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are excited to set up a world-class manufacturing plant for biodegradable packaging products at Pilukhedi. We also propose to establish a state-of-the-art industrial complex spread across 62 acres in Sehore District with a capital outlay of over 100 crores over a period of time."
"These are significant steps in our aspiration to be an end-to-end manufacturer and exporter of a wide-range of Made in India biodegradable packaging solutions. We aim to to offer premium and affordable range of A-grade wooden cutlery, ice cream sticks, spoons, kulfi sticks, coffee stirrers, airlaid napkins, paper cups, containers and other products to realise our agenda of being Sustainably Yours," he adds.
"The new facility will increase our production capacity enabling Xolopak to meet the growing demand for locally-made, compostable, and eco-friendly birchwood cutlery," he concludes.
