2nd spice park in Sahaspur

The second spice park’ of Uttarakhand would be developed in Sahaspur in Dehradun district. After laying the foundation stone for the first park at Sitarganj, the Union Commerce and Industries Minister Anand Sharma, while addressing the media in Dehradun said that the Union and State Governments are making serious efforts to increase investment and production in Uttarakhand. Sharma said that a convention centre worth Rs15 crore would be set up in Pantnagar.

To optimally utilise farm produce, one horticulture processing centre each would be set in Yamuna valley and Harshil. He said proposals worth Rs50 crore rupees have been given by the State to the centre for development of industrial infrastructure.
