Displaced assail CCl for failing to keep its promise

Hundreds of members of the Bermo Visthapit Prasthavit Sanghras Morcha took out an impressive Visthapit rally on Thursday to protest against the failure of the CCl management to provide jobs to displaced persons.

Starting from the Gomia post office More, the displace d persons, including women, marched to the project office of CCl Swang washery where its leaders addressed a mass meeting.The administration had made tight security arrangements to prevent any law and order problem during the Visthapit rally. The local police officials and forces were present at the spot. No untoward incident was reported during the entire demonstration. The president of Visthapit Morcha  Azahar Ansari extended full support of his unit to the visthapit  movement .

Ansari accused the CCl management of not keeping its promise it made while acquiring their land. He said that while big CCl mines are being built on the displaced lands, the latter are forced to live in hand-to-mouth conditions.The Bermo Visthapit leader further added that instead the CCl has appointed non-Visthapit persons in several posts meant for the displaced persons.

The president of Visthapit Morcha Azahar Ansari, warned that if the management does not fulfil their demands within time, it should prepare for a determined struggle of the displaced persons.
