Munat dedicates CSPDCl Zone Office to public

The new building of DD Nagar Zone Office of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company limited (CSPDCl) was dedicated to public by PWD Minister Rajesh Munat here on Wednesday.

The company has established 16 Zone offices for prompt disposal of complaints and these offices are also facilitating people in new connections, change of meter and other electricity works of the people, officials said. In his address to the officials and employees, Munat said that electricity is the base of development and appreciated the efforts for development of electricity system in Raipur.

Corporator Gyanesh Sharma said that the opening of new Zone Office will save time of the consumers. He congratulated the local residents for the facility.

CSPDCl Executive Director of Raipur region, Ml Mishra said that Chhattisgarh is a ‘zero power-cut’ State. To provide maximum benefit to the people, the company is constructing more and more sub stations and office buildings. The new Zone Office in DD Nagar will benefit about 14000 consumers of Deendayal Nagar, Ishwari Charan Shukla ward, Pandit Sunderlal Sharma ward and Thakur Pyarelal ward.

Mishra said that complaints can be registered at the Zone Office round-the-clock and also facilitate the payment of bills with help of ATP machine.In his welcome address, Chief Engineer DK Bhalerao said that the company has increased its efficiency according to the expectation of the consumers of the State.With persistent efforts by the company to facilitate the consumers, they are now getting better results in less time for all works related to electricity. To expand the services, construction of advance and modern technology office buildings are being constructed, he said.

Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Vijay Mishra conducted the proceedings of the programme. Engineers including PK Khare, VA Deshmukh, BK Gautam, Harpreet Bhatia, Jitesh Devangan, Murari, Bharti Sharma and others were present on the occasion.
