Chief Minister Harish Rawat has instructed to start Adharsh Vidhaliya (model school) in every block of the State within next 15 days along with incorporating regional languages and various aspects of Uttarakhand into the syllabus of Uttarakhand School Education Board from next session.
He instructed while taking a review meeting of progress of School Education and High School Departments at Bijapur Guest House on Wednesday. He has also directed to fill up all the vacancies of lT through regular recruitment.
According to instructions given by CM Rawat Principal must be available in every school of the State, a Department of local language would be set up in Sridev Suman University and Kumaun University, information about history, geography, economy, language, literature, culture should be incorporated into the syllabus of degree colleges. Further he asked to prepare a working plan to conduct State level Eligibility Test (SlET) like UGC NET for the eligibility of college lecturer.
Chief Minster reviewed the various points regarding Primary and Secondary Education Department. He asked to complete process of lT promotion as soon as possible.
Principal In-charge might be appointed if needed. Recruitment process of teachers should not be delayed unnecessary; a Teacher Recruitment Board should be constituted for the purpose.
When informed, that there were lots of vacancies according to RTE standard Chief Minister instructed to appoint guest teachers. He told to maintain the education quality along with sufficient autonomy to Dait centers. These services should be provided to such States which are lacking in it as result these centers might prove good income sources to Education Department. During the meeting Secretary in-charge School Education D Santhil Pandiyan apprised that 5-5 schools in every block have been identified to be developed as model schools. A working plan of these schools is being prepared which would be launched within following 15 days.
