At the district-level meeting of the Project Advisory Board held here on Monday evening, Parliamentary Secretary and Chairman of the Board, Shiva Shankar Paikara asked the Project Administrator to inspect work of all the NGOs that are operating in the district.
He also asked the official to prepare reports on services, training, resources, working venues being provided through NGOs.
Expressing anger over the non-completion of projects pending for years, Paikara instructed the officers to ensure completion of the projects, especially those related to development of tribes and other backward classes, with excellence and within the prescribed time-frame.
Addressing the mediapersons later, Paikara said that he had noticed many flaws and mistakes, while reviewing project works. This was the first meeting of the Project Advisory Board, where he found imperfection in execution of projects.
He said that he would try his best to avoid irregularities and errors in the projects.
