'KIIT only Indian varsity implementing SAP'

KIIT is the only university in India which implements SAP,” said SAP’s global vice-president Dr Malcolm J Woodfield.KIIT to have gone ‘live’ with SAP-MM, FI, HR, SlCM (Student life cycle management), EP, PI, FSS, MSS, ESS, SSS and BIBO Modules in all its schools and offices in one go. To make digital India successful in every sector, Malcolm said, there is need for implementation of SAP.
 
Wipro’s senior vice president Rajesh Mishra said IT industry in Odisha is growing faster than other States of India. “Today there is huge demand of SAP. Students of the KIIT should take the advantage of this training of SAP in the university as it is the brand ambassador among the educational institutions of India in implementing SAP,” he added.
 
University sources said EAM division of the KIIT offers training, education and consultancy in SAP. It carried out SAP implementation along with SAP India as its implementation partner.“Students and corporate houses and Government organisations should take the advantages of this,” said the university authorities and added that the university has a strong 40-member SAP team led by Prof Nihar Beura, who has 17 years of experience in SAP industry across the globe.
