Students learn of 'Oxbridge Summer Course'

The college students of the city received information about ‘Oxbridge Summer Course’ at a seminar on Sunday. Notably, Cambridge University and Oxford University are two of the influential colleges of the world. They are counted among the 20 best colleges across the globe.

Interestingly, both the universities will organise the International Summer School in India for the under-graduates. On Sunday, the under graduate students of various colleges participated in the seminar. The alumnus of Oxbridge Summer Course gave an informative presentation to the college students of the city. The students were informed about the participation in the International Summer School. The students were informed about the programmes and courses to be offered in the International Summer School.

Three alumni conducted the seminar. The students included Hiya Deshpande, Ishita Sharma and Devanshi Khatrpal. Hosted at a number of prestigious colleges in both cities, Oxbridge Summer School courses will inspire and challenge the students with a fresh approach to the study of traditional academic subjects, giving them an international education closer to home.

The Oxford and Cambridge Summer School offers an exciting academic summer programme, giving 15-18-year-olds the opportunity to experience what it is like to study at a top university. The courses allow the student to explore your subject in great depth beyond what the student will be doing at high school, and our supplementary seminars and workshops help to develop the academic ability and skill-set. Students will take part in a range of academic and extracurricular activities and leave with the confidence and experience to make an informed and competitive university application.

The alumni informed that the registrations begin from the month of September and only 5 to 10 students can be a part of the courses. They also informed that the student has to write a Statement of Purpose before applying. Moreover, doing this course, the students can meet the Nobel Prize winners as well. It was an informative session for the students of the city.
