BMC extends last date for submission of entries for competitions

On the request of the participants, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has extended the last date of the submission of the entries of the slogan writing, essay writing, movie making and social media competitions has been extended to December 10, 2016.

Notably, BMC has been conducting various programs, competitions and awareness campaigns in order to make Bhopal the cleanest city of the country in the cleanliness survey 2017.

Citizens of Bhopal especially students are actively taking part in the cleanliness programs under ‘My pledge Bhopal number 1’ campaign.

Students of class 6 to 8 and class 9 to 12 could take part in the essay and slogan competition by writing an essay on ‘cleanliness’ in 500 to 1500 words and by writing the slogan in maximum 15 words. The participants could submit their entries till December 10, 2016.

Participants have to make a movie clip of 3 minutes on cleanliness in order to take part in the movie making competition. The participants could submit their clips to their schools or colleges.

Participants of the ‘social media champion’ competition have send the link of their facebook profiles to the mobile number 7089203139.

The profile would be selected for the workshop and would be included in the competition.  The selected participant would be announced as the brand ambassador of digital cleanliness Bhopal.

The winner of the first prize in the essay and slogan competition would receive a cash prize of `5 thousand while second prize winner and third prize winner would get the cash prize of `3,000 and `2,000 respectively.

Similarly, the winner of the first prize in the movie making competition would receive a cash prize of ` 25,000 while second prize winner and third prize winner would get the cash prize of `15,000 and 10,000 respectively.
