Cops clueless, unable to trace missing 17-yr-old

Police are still groping in dark and unable to trace the 17-year-old youth who had gone missing from Berasia area on June 26; police have registered a case.

Notably, the victim recently cleared that class XII and had gone for a haircut on June 26 and since then did not turn up.

Till late in the night, when he did not come back, the family members lodged a missing complaint with the police.

According to the police the victim Mukul Maheswari is still missing and no information has been tracked by the police. After failing to find the victim, family members of the youth lodged a missing complaint with the Berasia police.

Soon after the information was received nearby police check posts and police stations were alerted but all in vain as till Wednesday evening the police were not able to find the kidnapped victim.

Police said that all possible angles are being explored regarding the missing victim.

The friends of the victim have been questioned but nothing concrete has been found that could help in the investigation.

Two police teams have been formed to search for the missing victim and nab the accused involved in the kidnapping.

Victim left the mobile at his house which police are not able to found that it was incidental or deliberate by the victim.

The police have registered a case under section 366 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

Victim’s father owns a grocery shop in Berasia. The family had denied receiving any call for ransom. Police have intensified the search to trace the victim.
