Evaluation process in Jiwaji University under scanner

Thursday, 31 March 2016 | PNS | Gwalior

The evaluation process in the Jiwaji University of Gwalior is under scanner. One student of BHMS is waiting for last one year to get the marks of one question and when the student did not get the assurance from the university, he was forced to take the shelter of High Court.

The student has blamed that he has not received the marks for one question which he had written in answer-sheet. He has also tallied his answer from the book and discovered that his answer was right. On the other hand, students of BSc Third year and fourth year have blamed the Jiwaji University for their result as due to mistakes in valuation. Nursing students have launched indefinite dharna demanding review of valuation process.

State officer-bearer of Nursing Student Committee Vishnu Pandey and district president Bhupendra Gurjar informed that they have given the application several times demanding the review of valuation process. Students have the opinion that the review of copies should be evaluated by an expert in front of them, but Jiwaji Administration have turned deaf ears.

Review was not done for those roll numbers which were given to them. Ten students have demanded to available their copies through RTI act and the assurance was given to show the copies.

According to Deputy Registrar Arun Singh Chauhan, the valuation for the Nursing Students was right and there was no mistake in their copies. When the review was done by the expert in front of them then it was found right and now there will be no change in the marks.

The Committee, which was formed for the inspection of 22 BEd colleges, has submitted the report of to DCDC. Two colleges were found closed during the inspection. They are- Avadh Madhav and SMY Colleges. Jiwaji University Inspection team will again visit these two colleges once again to make the reports and later submit to DCDC or take the action against these colleges.
