A day after his expulsion from the party, the former Bahujan Samaj Party leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui, MlC has hit back and has accused the party supremo Mayawati of labelling Muslims as ‘betrayers’ after debacle in UP Assembly election. He also accused Mayawati of running an extortion racket under the cover of a political party and he was expelled from the party for his failure to pay Rs 50 crore. He alleged that Mayawati mounted pressure on him to arrange the money by disposing his assets in the market.
Addressing a Press conference here on Thursday Naseemuddin also played seven audio tapes where Mayawati is seen asking him to expedite the collection and payment of the money as ‘directed’ and also assuring that the payment of the money will ensure his elevation in the hierarchy of the party. Though the audio clips did not mention about Rs 50 crores, it was heard that Mayawati was asking repeatedly about her work and what arrangement he was making to fulfil it while Nasimuddin was saying that he was trying his level best to fulfil her requirements.
“I have plethora of secret information about Mayawati, her brother Anand Kumar and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Mishra. There will be an earthquake if I release all those information with me. I will reveal them slowly but surely’’, said the former BSP leader. He added, “Anand Kumar was once a Class IV employee in NOIDA and today his worth is over Rs 2,000 crore’’.
Naseemuddin also rebutted that charge that he indulged in anti party activities by not taking over as the in charge of Madhya Pradesh. He said Mayawati had herself permitted him to stay in UP till the election of the urban local bodies. He also played the audio CD where Mayawati is asking him to stay in UP till the elections and expedite the payment of money required for the party. He added, “charges were deliberately framed against me and my son. I will expose Mayawati and the coterie around her.”
“I have got over 150 CDs of my telephonic conversation with her. If Mayawati makes any further allegation against me then I will also release the CD which carries the evidence killings of the political rivals done by a gang of criminals controlled by Mayawati,” said Naseemuddin while adding, “BSP general secretary Satish Mishra while announcing my expulsion from the party had levelled false allegation me that I asked for money from the businessmen and industrialists. I have given you the evidence that I was the victim of extortion not the vice versa.”.
Naseemuddin also claimed that the charges of amassing assets was also false as both the UP vigilance and Enforcement directorate have given him the clean chit after the investigation.
“After the UP Assembly elections Mayawati called me to Delhi and asked me why the muslims did not vote for the BSPIJ She also said that backward and upper caste also did not vote for us,” Naseemuddin quoted Mayawati. He accused Mayawati of labelling Muslims as ‘betrayers’ after debacle in UP Assembly election.
Naseemuddin said that he told Mayawati that "Muslims have voted for the BSP but due to Congress-SP alliance, they got confused and divided. Mayawati disagreed. She abused me and said I was fooling her." "Mayawati said, Rs Rs Mussalman dhokhebaz hain’’ (Muslims are betrayers)," Naseemuddin claimed.
Nasseemuddin said, "I was associated with his ideology for over three decades. For the sake of the party, I did not even visit my ailing daughter who died due to lack of treatment as Mayawati wanted to work as her election agent during the 1996 assembly election and did not permit me to go for her self-interest.
"I sacrificed everything for the party and its chief Mayawati as he had faith in BSP founder Kashiram's ideology’’. said Naseemuddin who was considered number two in the BSP and its Muslim face in UP.
Holding Mayawati's "wrong policies" responsible for BSP's poor performance in 2009 and 2014 lok Sabha and 2012 and 2017 UP Assembly elections , Naseemuddin alleged that the BSP chief levelled "false and misleading" allegations against Muslims and also made objectionable comments against them, especially in the 2017 polls. He said that he sacrificed everything for the party and its chief Mayawati as he had faith in BSP founder Kashiram's ideology.
Nasseemuddin said, "I was associated with his ideology for over three decades. For the sake of the party, I did not even visit my ailing daughter who died due to lack of treatment as Mayawati wanted my services during elections and did not permit me to go for her self-interest."
BSP General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Satish Chandra Mishra announced expulsion of Naseemuddin Siddiqui and his son Afzal. Mishra had said, "Naseemuddin and his son Afzal have been expelled from the party. Naseemuddin has a partnership in a number of slaughter houses and benami properties in his name. He also took money during assembly polls due to which party had to suffer defeat".
